Update 2021

Dear Friends,

I am sitting in my office, checking in on everything having to do with CELBANPrep as it has been several months since I stepped away from teaching/creating/planning.

This Saturday, I received a surge of energy, at two o’clock in the morning. I went to my blog, Dear Kim, and was deeply impacted by one of the comments I received several months ago but only just read. I felt the words of this man representing all of you when he said,

“I hope you will continue to guide and help others in reaching their dreams.”

At two am, I took out a brand new notebook, with three emperor penguins on it: two adults hugging a baby. I bought this book because it reminded me about how I feel: as if I am the baby penguin surrounded by the love of my Heavenly Parents. I use this book as a symbol of my ability and willingness to receive love from God as I embark on my work.

And so it was, that two o’clock in the morning, I started writing notes in this book about where I have been and where I am going. While I have been planning on migrating CELBANPrep courses and turning them into textbooks that will be available through Amazon. New ideas were revealed to me of how to incorporate what I was doing with CELBANPrep with the new direction I see myself taking.

That is right, it is the one comment written by one man that has inspired the transformation of the courses I have been teaching, since 2009, into text books.

So, today, I went around to check in on everything and was amazed to see what has been happening in my absence.

I discovered that one thousand people have subscribed to my YouTube channels: and there aren’t even any videos posted yet!

I was in awe. One thousand people signing up and waiting for me to “continue to guide and help others in reaching their dreams”.

Then I went to check in on my mailing list. There I discovered that even though I have been away, people continue to sign up: three thousand people have signed up, in total!

I feel completely overwhelmed with the understanding and realization of how valuable I am:  how needed I am, how many people are out there in the world waiting for me to get well enough/strong enough/healthy enough to continue in my work “to guide and help others in reaching their dreams”.

I am moved to tears.

I apologize for it being so long. But I want you to know that I am excited about what is to come. And I am grateful to God for filling me with the energy and desire to do this work, to once again “guide and help others in reaching their dreams.”

While I will continue to migrate the resources to Amazon, I will also be expanding my scope from Internationally Educated Nurses to Professional Immigrants in general. So, when I host live events you will be able to bring your friends and family that are not nurses and they will benefit as well!

So thank you, to all of you who have continued to sign up. Thank you for continuing to pray for me. It is because of these prayers that I am “will continue to guide and help others in reaching their dreams”: not only nurses but so much more!
