I don’t experience writer’s block.

With Internationally Educated Health Professionals as my source of inspiration, I am continually and constantly inspired to create out-of-the-box solutions for career advancement.

Whether it be to improve reading, writing, listening skills, learning proper grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure, or juggling worlds when it comes to being a parent, juggling parenting with school, the licensure process, and work, there is always more that I can do to assist in nurturing and supporting IENs and IEHPs by smoothing the path before them.

How do you get inspired to write? (πŸ“˜πŸ–‹οΈ)

When it comes to my books, blog, and courses I have created, written and designed for CELBANPrep, my inspiration for writing comes from the passionate and hardworking Internationally Educated Health Professionals I have had the privilege of meeting over the years.

Their determination to create successful and meaningful lives in Canada, coupled with the lack of resources available to help them achieve their goals, inspired me to create the English Language Mastery for Health Professionals program.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book? (πŸ“˜πŸ–‹οΈ)

I recently published a book series on English “Grammar Essentials” for Internationally Educated Health Professionals. There are four volumes, three are available internationally from Amazon:

  1. CELBAN Grammar Essentials: Nouns & Articles 
  2. CELBAN Grammar Essentials: Verbs & Verbals 
  3. CELBAN Grammar Essentials: Punctuation

The idea for the books came from my work with these professionals. Through my experience, I noticed that errors in grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure can cause confusion and misunderstandings in the medical field, which can have serious consequences for patient outcomes. I realized that there was a need for a comprehensive resource that could help these professionals improve their English language skills and effectively communicate in the medical setting.
