Ever since CELBANPrep was created in 2009, Internationally Educated Nurses preparing for the CELBAN have been looking for resources to prepare for the CELBAN. For over 10 years CELBANPrep has provided: lessons, assignments, guidance, videos, and writing samples. There have always been two parts:
The Membership to the Website to access the writing samples, and other material.
The E-books with the lessons, samples, instructions and assignments.
Because CELBANPrep began before iPhones, tablets and smart phones existed – only a few years after YouTube was created – since 2009 there have been 10 versions of CELBANPrep! (Each one takes months to create!)
Two things remain: you need both the instruction manuals and the membership!
The 2020 Version of CELBANPrep has integrated modern technological advances to offer to you:
First of all, thank you for letting me know about the updates or recent changes with Celban Prep website. I would like to apologize for not being able to reply from your email since I’ve been so busy at work and my exams. I’ve been meaning to send a response but everytime I wanted to construct my testimonial regarding your books, something always comes up.
I’d like you to know that I passed my Celban exam the first time that I took it last year June 12 2018 after using your Listening & Reading bundle, speaking and writing level 1 study guide. I only had a month and 2 weeks prior to the exam. I spent 1 month and 2 weeks preparing for celban and I could say your study guide/books really helped me alot.
It was like you are giving us, your readers, the basic information or backbone of the said exam.
Although I received other sample reviewers (very basic, like the one from the library), I wasn’t contented with it since it wont teach me the how to start from scratch.
It is such a great blessing to be able to avail of the free resource materials you’re offering for my CELBAN preparation [the CELBAN or IELTS: User Guide].
I am recently a holder of a Canadian Immigrant visa. I moved here from the Philippines since November…. It is my earnest desire to settle and practice my nursing profession here. In fact, I haven’t tried living in any other place or country.
I have taken the IELTS with the following scores: Listening 8.5, Reading 8, Speaking 7.5 Writing 6. Based on my experience, I had difficulty enhancing my writing skills. I really do hope that with your help, I will be able to fully prepare and pass the CELBAN exam.
If you have you will see a whole host of new resources to assist you in preparing for the CELBAN. And, there are 4 more in the wings, just waiting for their debut. So, at this moment I have not done much to promote them or tell everyone about them. But, I do want to tell you about two new titles that came out:
As you may know, these two resources are FREE CELBANPrep E-books!!! They are free with a Kindle Unlimited Account. (Or $2.99. I would charge less or not at all, but this is the lowest Amazon will allow me to go. So, Kindle Unlimited it is!)
Thank you for your email. I am an internationally educated nurse from the Philippines aiming to be registered here in BC in the near future. We landed here in …. with my family… I worked in the UAE for more than 9 years before coming here. Now, I am still in the process of completing the requirements for the NNAS application, and just like any other IEP’s , getting the required english proficiency test (Ielts) is a bit of a challenge since they require a certain score in each of the categories..I have taken the Ielts academic version in the past with an overall band score of 7 in 2010 for immigration purposes. Since it is already expired, i need to provide a recent result to the regulating body in order to begin the process of assessment. I have already taken 2 times in Abu Dhabi last year with only 6.5 band score since I scored less in writing and reading..Now i am contemplating of giving another try here in BC this month and if still not successful, I will opt for Celban. I heard that the chances of passing [the CELBAN] is higher than ielts because it is medical in nature and is intended for nurses that’s why i am optimistic that i will also pass the test with enough preparation and guidance/ strategies.
Thank you for the free study guide and practice tests in advance!
Both E-books are only $2.99 CND, or FREE with Kindle Unlimited. Having Kindle Unlimited is like having a library with access to an entire e-book collection. While there is a monthly subscription, you can sign up for a FREE trial.
That is why CELBANPrep has released two e-books back to back, so that you can get the most out of your Kindle Unlimited membership/trial. (By the way, The CELBAN Trap: 4 Ways IENs Fall is also available for FREE through Kindle Unlimited.)
I don’t know where to start my [CELBAN or IELTS Writing Assessment]. Are you going to give me a topic and send you 250-500 words report? I’m confused. Please send me the step-by-step process because i don’t have any idea, and i’m not expert with the online process of study. Please help me. Thank you
