Thank you for the inspiring me to pursue my career here in Canada. I did say thank you for you to my friend who told CELBAN thing. It is by me on how to face and pass the challenge for Nursing English requirements. Especially now I am a 7 months postpartum Mom and having a hard time in self- studying because my baby needs me all the time. And it is only me taking care of her while my husband working.
I have a question, how do I start to prepare for the CELBAN with CELBANPrep? Right now till Dec the exam dates are full [not available] across Canada. That’s makes me think in a hurry and worried because my practice in Nursing it’s on standby. By next year I’m 3 years not working as a Nurse. And which will I purchase the CELBAN PREP bundle? or will I start first the basic prep one by one? Please advise me Kim.
I am so happy to hear from you again!
So you have a little baby! How wonderful! I completely understand. Many people who come to me and CELBANPrep are in similar situations. One person had her baby two days after the exam. Another person has been with me since December and just had a baby two months ago. Some people have family support, others do not.
So, having CELBANPrep online makes it much easier for young mom’s like you! Actually, it makes it quite fun! Many of the IENs that used CELBANPrep were home taking care of babies and children. Children are often playing in the background. And if people need to attend to the children, they stop, do what they have to do, coming back when they can. That is the amazing thing of being part of the CELBANPrep Family! You don’t have to worry about child care, transportation, and nap time!
As for your question of where to start, I get that all the time.
When it comes to someone like you, a Busy Person, one of the first things you need to do is figure out how to manage your time. That is why I have created a Study Plan specifically for Busy People ~ Moms and Dads. There is a section for you in the CELBANPrep Study Planner.
The other thing you need to do is figure out how to include some self-care. That is why I have started coaching people with the Achieve Your Dreams program. (www.achieve.celbanprep.info). There are two options I would suggest:
- Career and Passion Planning for Internationally Educated Health Professionals
- Healing Healers: Wellness & Self Care for Internationally Educated Health Professionals
Because, J, the biggest thing is understanding that you are not alone in this. The support you need is that of encouragement: emotional and affirmational support. You need support in figuring out a solid study plan, end encouragement when it comes to organizing time for your studies and your self in your busy and active life.
