|| Even When I Cry, I Continue ||
Dear Kim,
Sometimes I wonder if I ever reach this levelโฆ to be fluent, to write with clarity and confidence. I read your words again and againโฆ this idea that writing is not only for passing exam, but for caring, for communication, for helping others. It touch me deeply.
I feel overwhelmed, honestly. So many things to remember. Coherence, grammar, task response, spelling, registerโฆ My head gets full, my heart gets tired. I try to write but… I stop. I read it again and it feel messy. My tenses not match, my words repeat, sometimes I donโt know how to begin or end.
But stillโฆ I donโt give up. I wake up early before my children and I sit with my notes. I pray before I study. I ask God for strength and guidance. I believe if I keep going, something will change. Slowly. Gently.
I want to join CELBANPrep because something about you feel different. Like a hand that reaches outโฆ not to judge, but to hold. You donโt only teach grammar or writing. You remind us that we are not alone. That our journey matters.
Thank you for showing that this writing skill is not only for exam… it is for my future patients, my team, for the nurse I want to become in Canada. Thank you for seeing us not only as students, but as people with hopes, with fears, with families, with dreams.
May God bless your heart for all you do. I will continue, even when it’s hard. Even when I cry. Even when I want to stop. Because I know now… this is not just English. This is transformation.
With deep respect,
Tomoko
Dear Tomoko,
You have written something sacred.
Not just words on a screen, but a testament of longing, of courage, of heart that wakes up early and sits before the page with reverence. I want to begin there with the part of you that continues, even when overwhelmed, even when unsure. That part already carries the rhythm of transformation.
Let us walk slowly now, across the spirals that hold more than grammar: they hold the grace of becoming.
๐ Return to Self
Sometimes the pressure to โsound fluentโ makes us forget we are already speaking a language older than English: the language of devotion.
Before the grammar.
Before the structure.
Before the rulesโฆ
There is the self who rises early, who whispers a prayer for guidance, who continues not for applause but for alignment: with purpose, with family, with a deeper calling.
Your tears, your pauses, your tangled sentencesโฆ
They are not interruptions to your learning.
They are your learning.
And you are returning… to yourself, to your own rooted clarity, sentence by sentence.
๐ Fog to Clarity
Yes, the writing task is complex: coherence, grammar, spelling, tone, response.
But I invite you to take a slow breath and hold this truth:
You do not have to master it all at once.
You only need to understand the sequence.
Start with clarity.
Not perfection.
Start with one clear thought.
Then the next.
Like lanterns lit along a dark path.
You are not lost.
You are in the fog.
And the fog lifts slowly.
Let grammar be your compass, not your burden. Let each punctuation mark become a soft pause… not a scold, but a signal that says: breathe here.
๐ Rooted in Enoughness
I see how heavy it feels sometimes.
How the heart gets tired before the hand even begins to write.
But even in your overwhelm, you didnโt stop.
You wrote anyway.
You felt anyway.
You said โI believe something will change.โ
That is enoughness.
That is strength in its quietest form.
You do not need to prove your worth through your writing.
Your writing is simply the vessel through which your already-worthy self is learning to speak with care, with skill, with soul.
You are not behind. You are in motion.
๐ Rekindling the Inner Fire
Tomoko, there is a fire inside your letter.
Not loud. Not boastful. But steady.
It glows in the words: โI donโt give up.โ
It flickers in the tears.
It rises in the phrase: โI want to be the nurse I dream to become in Canada.โ
And it is this fire that will carry you through the long, quiet, invisible work of transformation.
Every sentence you write, no matter how imperfect, stokes this flame.
Every revision. Every note. Every moment you choose to study instead of surrender… you are feeding the fire.
Let it burn gently. Not to consume you. But to warm the way forward.
๐ Standing at Zenith
There will come a day (and it is nearer than you think) when your writing will not only be correct, but clear. Not only clear, but alive.
You will write a report that your team understands the first time.
You will document patient care in a way that builds trust and safety.
You will write not to impress, but to bless.
And when that day comes, I hope you remember this one…
the day you chose to continue, even though your heart felt tired and your grammar felt unsure.
That day matters.
It brought you closer to the nurse you are becoming.
The communicator. The advocate. The one who knows how to put care into words.
Let us walk slowly. Together.
No rush. No fear. Just one spiral at a time.
With reverence for your devotion and deep respect for your journey,
Kim
