Hi Kim!  Before im working as a Live in Caregiver and got my open work permit last December  now i’ve started working as an HCA … but got in my thoughts in everytime i am giving a care to the Residents i am glad & enjoying with them but at the same time feels like theres something lacking on me because i can’t function as what i am doing before as a Nurse. These makes me sad on the other part and sometimes feeling emptiness. Can you please what advise you can give me i am now ready for a Review at you for CELBAN.

πŸœ„ Return to Self

Dear S,

Your message arrived like a quiet heartbeat through the page.

I read it slowly… because the ache beneath your words deserves not quick answers, but presence. There is a tenderness in your truth: the joy of caring for others, held in the same hands as the sorrow of not fully inhabiting the part of you that once walked as a nurse.

That ache you named – the emptiness you feel – is not failure. It is memory. It is the echo of your calling, still alive in you. Not gone. Just waiting. Quietly.

And now, I see you returning. Not just to CELBAN. But to yourself.

🜁 Fog to Clarity

This moment is not confusion. This moment is recognition.

You are beginning to see what has long been hidden under your daily work: that you are still a nurse. Not by title. Not by papers. But by presence. By instinct. By knowing what care feels like in your bones.

Now comes the clarity. You are ready to review. Not because everything feels easy; but, because you’re ready to stop postponing what your heart already knows.

You are not starting from nothing. You are starting from deep experience, rooted in love, surrounded by service. The fog is thinning.

You see it now, don’t you? The path was never gone. Only waiting for your return.

πŸœƒ Rooted in Enoughness

It is easy to forget this in a world of qualifications and examsβ€”but you have not been less.

What you’ve done (as a live-in caregiver, now as an HCA) is sacred work. It is work that requires courage, sacrifice, patience, and presence. You have not stepped away from your calling; you have been walking beside it. And now, you are turning toward it once more.

Not because you were unworthy before, but because you are ready now to step into the fullness of who you already are.

You are enough. Still learning, yes… but never lacking.

πŸœ‚ Rekindling the Inner Fire

That restlessness in you, the one that keeps stirring when your hands are busy and your smile is full… that is not something to silence. That is your fire speaking. That is your soul remembering.

Let it speak.

Let it say: I am ready now. Let it remind you of what you still carry. Let it give you the strength to begin again: not as a beginner, but as one returning to her flame.

You will need support, yes. You will need structure. But mostly, you will need to keep choosing this fire when fear tells you to hide again.

You’ve lit the match. Now guard the flame.

πŸœ€ Standing at Zenith

You stand now at a powerful threshold: not one defined by what you lack, but by what you are reclaiming. Your presence. Your voice. Your gift.

The path ahead will not be without challenge. But it will also not be without meaning. And you are not alone in walking it.

The nurse within you was never lost. She was only waiting for your trust.

And now, step by step, skill by skill, breath by breathβ€”you return. Not to the past. But to the truth of who you are becoming.

Welcome back, S.
~ Kim
