I recently published a book series on English “Grammar Essentials” for Internationally Educated Health Professionals. There are four volumes, three are available internationally from Amazon:

1. CELBAN Grammar Essentials: Nouns & Articles 
2. CELBAN Grammar Essentials: Verbs & Verbals 
3. CELBAN Grammar Essentials: Punctuation

The idea for the books came from my work with these professionals. Through my experience, I noticed that errors in grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure can cause confusion and misunderstandings in the medical field, which can have serious consequences for patient outcomes. I realized that there was a need for a comprehensive resource that could help these professionals improve their English language skills and effectively communicate in the medical setting.

That’s why I created the Grammar Essentials Series, published by CELBANPrep Publishing, which is available as a book on Amazon and through online training at CELBANPrep University. The series covers key elements of English grammar, provides clear explanations and examples all written by Internationally Educated Nurses who enrolled in CELBANPrep University’s “Wonderful Writing Course” (formerly CELBANPrep Writing Levels 1 and II), and includes exercises to help individuals apply the rules of grammar and punctuation in real-life situations.

In fact, all of the examples come from IENs who hired me for one-on-one writing coaching during the CELBANPrep Writing Level 1 and II online course I developed in 2010.

Ultimately, my goal with this book series is to help Internationally Educated Health Professionals communicate effectively and improve patient outcomes.

Going beyond Internationally Educated Nurses, those goal extends out to pharmacists, physiotherapists, doctors, dentists, midwives, med lab techs and more.

The “Grammar Essentials Series” is available on Amazon for those who need a more affordable option. The book is an excellent resource for individuals who prefer to learn at their own pace and have a reference they can return to whenever they need.

Additionally, the CELBANPrep University’s “English Language Mastery for Health Professionals” offers a video series as part of the Silver Bundle, which provides a comprehensive and interactive learning experience for Internationally Educated Health Professionals looking to improve their English language skills. The app-based campus makes it easy to access the Resource Centre, where the Grammar Essentials Series is available, along with a range of other resources designed to help students develop their skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
