Heyyy, look at you! Now that you came back for CELBANPrep, you are truly full of life and energy. I couldn’t almost keep up with all the new projects you’ve been doing! So I did the 3 things I needed to do tonight so I won’t actually get behind. I appreciate you for taking me along in this journey and allowing me to be a part of this despite being busy with life. I am very excited for all your plans. I just want you to know as always that I will always support you on your endeavors.
But this week it was refreshing to get an email from you. I read it and read it so I make sure I get everything.
I took Celban October and just got the results. Listening 9 and Reading both failed by one point. Dissapointing. Oh. ..
On top of these. …[personal family matters]. It’s extremely hard. …but the life goes on. One of my best friend visited me and she said I just ordered a Passion Planner agenda for my daughter. I didn’t have a clue what was that. 🙂 Interesting ….isn’t it? So couple of hours later I read your email about it. Providential.
Now I saw your new CELBAN for 2018. Sounds exciting. But I have my dilemma. Should I still pursue this dream? I have the two little children. I am out of nursing more than 8 years. I am already registered with NNAS….and my registration is expiring….more and more money. And I didn’t PASS.
Of course a new year comes and new forces and dreams come as well. What would you do? How would you plan. As I can see you went through a lot and still dreaming and achieving many things. We just need to read again God’s promises and appreciations of his people.
You gently encourage us and push forward.
I want to mention that you said you are ‘ordinary’ Do you think is that right? If we believe we are ‘the reflection of God’ then we are extraordinary. We are unique travelling on the Earth with different struggles.

This morning I set out to plan the next two months, before the release of CELBANPrep 2018 and all the other things that have been peculating in my being. I went to Facebook and found this:
My heart was completely filled as I began my day. I took out my notebooks, my planner, plain paper, pencils and other various items. And then I realized something. I am planning for 2018!
I am planning for 2018!
It has been several years since I actually had a glimmer of hope into the vastness of the future; and, usually I start my planning for the new year on January first! I love getting out my new wall calendar, and day planner and planning away. I am ready for it. But today, November 14, I didn’t have what I needed! 2018 is two months away!
I am sitting in my office, checking in on everything having to do with CELBANPrep as it has been several months since I stepped away from teaching/creating/planning.
This Saturday, I received a surge of energy, at two o’clock in the morning. I went to my blog, Dear Kim, and was deeply impacted by one of the comments I received several months ago but only just read. I felt the words of this man representing all of you when he said,
At two am, I took out a brand new notebook, with three emperor penguins on it: two adults hugging a baby. I bought this book because it reminded me about how I feel: as if I am the baby penguin surrounded by the love of my Heavenly Parents. I use this book as a symbol of my ability and willingness to receive love from God as I embark on my work.
And so it was, that two o’clock in the morning, I started writing notes in this book about where I have been and where I am going. While I have been planning on migrating CELBANPrep courses and turning them into textbooks that will be available through Amazon. New ideas were revealed to me of how to incorporate what I was doing with CELBANPrep with the new direction I see myself taking.
That is right, it is the one comment written by one man that has inspired the transformation of the courses I have been teaching, since 2009, into text books.
I just read your blog about what happened to your daughter and I feel so sad. I believe everything happens for a reason. I hope you will continue to guide and help others in reaching their dreams.
My wife would like to take the Celban exam but we cannot find online resources or reviewers. It would be a great help if you can give us an idea where to get the review materials for Celban. She is planning to review here in the UAE then fly to Canada just to take the exam. She already have an application in NNAS but she lacks the english proficiency exam which is Ielts(academic) or Celban. We hope to hear from you soon. Thank you and God bless

I’m from Philippines and I’ve been living in Canada for about 1 year and 3 months now. I took Academic IELTS 3 years ago and my scores was never reached the required scores for nurses. I already took 3x and I even attended IELTS review in the Philippines. As far as I remember my scores are Listening 6-6.5, Writing 6.0, Listening 6.5, Speaking 6-6.5.
The reason that brought me to your site is because I will take my CELBAN writing exam on Thursday. I had my speaking exam last Monday and I knew that I didn’t do great. I struggled for words, keep on saying the same thing, I have long pauses and I got stunned. I’m always having the same problem even before in IELTS. I am too nervous. This is my first try to take CELBAN. I’m crossing my fingers to pass my writing exams at least. I admit that I am not prepared because CELBAN offered me a schedule 2 weeks before the exam, since I am so eager to take CELBAN, I grabbed the offer. I will update you on the results. Thanks Kim. S.
I have taken my exam today. It was not bad. The listening part was 60 questions and it was more difficult than what I expected. I have answered all of the qustions, but I am not sure abot their correctness,I hope that I can get 10. The other three parts was exactly as the same as you taught. The only diference was in the number of questions in reading. I wrote the incident report in 18 minutes…. BTW, I realy appreciate your great teaching, during the exam I was so confident and I was not under a huge pressure. I finished all parts on time. I feel confident in stating that your teaching method along with ongoing practice can make a miracle.
